UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy (March 2019 - today)
The UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy was established at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in March 2019, under the chairholder Professor Emmanuella Doussis. I started as a Research Fellow (2019-2023) and, since March 2023, I am a Senior Research Fellow. I am also the Project Manager of the Chair. My PhD research was the first thesis to be conducted and defended under the auspices of the Chair. The Chair has three main pillars of activity regarding climate policies and diplomacy: education and dissemination of knowledge, research, and bridging the gap between academia and policymakers.
